Karen Hairston Instructional Designer/Project Manager KAREN HAIRSTON has over eight years of experience in developing custom online learning for adult learners as an instructional designer and project manager. She received a Master's in Educational Psychology/Instructional Design from Michigan State University. She has held management level positions at Novations Learning Technologies (formerly Strategic Interactive) as Functional Manager of several functional areas: Instructional Design, Project Management and Quality Assurance; Manager of Operations; Director of Design Services (e-learning); and Product Development Manager. At Strategic Interactive, she established the company's first instructional design and quality assurance standards. Karen has earned Brandon Hall Awards and an Arbor Award for outstanding online learning products.
